Discover Your Beauty....

All I can say is wow and how inspiring!  I had the honor of working with my friend Pepper.  We've known each other since 2000 and you couldn't ask for a better friend.  Not only is she the one to contact if you have advertising questions but now she's doing her own thing by educating others on how to dress thrifty for less.  What's even more important than that is having confidence in yourself.  I will say she has the confidence and intelligence to succeed at whatever she's focused on.  I think the bio on her blog page says it all; "Hello and welcome to my world.  My name is Pepper and I am putting my style life on display for you to be inspired and discover the beauty of being a plus size woman.  I am all about thrifting, DIY and Bargains galore.  I am always in search for a great piece and other inspiration from other wonderful women with great style."  Please take the time and visit her blog page at: www.prettypluspep.blogspot.com  With over 1,000 fans I'm sure you will quickly become one.

Watch out because she has two other side kicks and they are known as the Curvy Angels!  Charlie's Angels can't touch them with a ten foot pole.  Trust me, they don't need a boss named Charlie because they are running things.  Keep up the good work ladies!  Pepper, it was a pleasure and let me know if you or the Curvy Angels need anything.

Tuskegee University Graduate

Hello everyone,

Recently I had the privilege of taking pictures of Tashina.  She's is just days away from graduating from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL.  Not only is she smart but she's ready to show her love for others in the medical field.  That's right she's graduating in the difficult field of nursing and I'm confident everyone will love to have her by their side while in the hospital or doctors office.

"What is a nurse?  To go above and beyond the call of duty.  The first to work and the last to leave.  The heart and soul of caring.  A unique soul who will pass thru your life for a minute and impact it for an eternity.  A empowered individual whom you may meet for only a 12 hour period, but who will put you and yours above theirs........." - Anonymous

During the photo shoot I met some of Tashina's friends which are also graduating in nursing and I can tell Tashina only associates with the best and has her eyes on success and others well being.  Please say a prayer for her as she and her friends prepare to take the Boards which is the final step to becoming a RN (Registered Nurse).   Congratulations Tashina and I wish nothing but the best in the future!

Mark aka "Megagigapigahiga"

Merry Christmas everyone!

Yes you are reading the title correctly I said Megagigapigahiga!  Too funny Mark and very creative!  That's quite a nickname.  I had the joy of reliving my youth with a Montgomery skateboarder.  He attends Lee High School, goes to church at Vaughn Forest, cheers on his older sister Melayna who is an excellent singer that auditioned on American Idol and during his free time goes to the local skate park to perfect some moves and release some stress.  Of course I couldn't write this and not mention his great parents Ricky and Krista and his little sister known as KK!

As with most cities skateboarding is restricted in many areas but we figured just taking pictures shouldn't be a crime!

During our transition from location to location he had to put the board down and ride.  I couldn't help but think what would I tell Ricky if I brought him home with a ticket from MPD!

I remember growing up that in order to perfect a move sometimes required a visit with the pavement and Mark had that experience yesterday!  He got up and shook off the hefty cut on his finger like it's the name of the game.  My visit with the pavement wasn't so easy when you crack a tooth!!

Our goal yesterday was to get some portraits of Mark and his request for the next session is to get some shots of him in action at the Montgomery Skate Park.  He knows I will not reject that invitation!  Keep up the good work Mark!  Stay focused in school, put God first and doors will open for you like nothing you ever imagined.  Talk to you soon and yesterday was a blast!  :)
